The Importance of Soft Skills for Graduates

Hello everyone ! Our entry for this time is about the soft skills. Did you know what is meant by soft skills? Let us explain in details to you guys. Soft skills is a term often associated with a person's "E.Q" (Emotional Intelligence Quotient), the cluster of personality traits, social graces, communication, language, personal habits, friendliness, and optimism that characterize relationships with other people. Soft skills complement hard skills which are the occupational requirements of a job and many other activities. They are related to feelings, emotions, insights and an inner knowing. Soft skills are personal attributes that enhance an individual's interactions, job performance and career prospects. Unlike hard skills, which are about a person's skill set and ability to perform a certain type of task or activity, soft skills relate to a person's ability to interact effectively with co-workers and customers and are broadly applicable both in and outside the workplace.

Why is that these skills are the most importance elements to us especially once we had graduated?

According to statistics from the Ministry of Higher Education in its official website, there were 337.884 people graduated with a bachelor of graduation in all the public and private institutions in 2005 and 2009. From that total, the Ministry of Higher Education found that nearly 60,000 unemployed graduates reported in 2009. Among the causes of this phenomenon are the disadvantages of soft skills among graduates being touted as a cause of the phenomenon of unemployed graduates.

Hence, as we can see from above statements we can conclude that the soft skills are mainly needed for graduate to seek for their first job. As can be seen, though many students graduate from university with the excellent degrees, they can not get a good job at a highly reputable company. Why? The answer is so obvious, because most students lack of soft skills which are required for a good job. From these, you can see that soft skills are very necessary for students’ jobs in the future.

Job seekers equate to more than just their resumes, which outline unique educational and employment histories. However valuable these may be, there are a wide range of other qualities that recruiters look for in potential candidates. These are often referred to as “soft skills”. In today’s ever-competitive job market, the measure of an individual’s general career success is the ability to use these soft skills to adapt to any assignment.

It cannot be expressed adequately how important soft skills are and how they can position a candidate for success in the workplace. As a job seeker, it’s critical that you leverage soft skills for landing a new job. As an employer, it’s important that you help your employees develop these soft skills in their everyday tasks.

There are a few soft skill that are important for graduates once they entered in their workplace in order to inspire the employers. But the most important soft skill is communication skill. The ability to communicate with others is a critical soft skill in workplaces today. Communication in the form of written materials, such as emails and letters, can support business objectives. Communication delivered to peers and customers in a verbal format can make or break a business. All job seekers can develop the soft skill of communication and become more valuable to employers by taking public speaking classes, honing their writing skills, and learning more about body language’s role in communication.

As the conclusion that can be made, the soft skills are very important to us especially once we had graduated. This is because employers nowadays were focused on the quality of the employees that they will employ for their companies. It's not just about quantity, it's all about quality.

Social taboos around the world

What is taboos?

Taboos comes from tongan tapu or Fijan means prohibited, disallowed and forbidden and its related among others to the Maori Tapu.

What is social taboos?

Social taboo is , a practice , habit , or any material object or abstract thing that's is not in conformity with accepted practice in that's society , and hence discouraged by the members of that society and community. It would depend on various things such as the annual , country, language denomination , ethnic differences, or how orthodox or unorthodox generally the majority of those societies are . For instance , in the Asian Countries, even in 2008, smoking or taking alcohol in public places is considered taboo . Men shaking hands with women is considered a taboo by the Muslim countries. Marrying outside one 's Caste is still considered a taboo in India and in some of the south east asian countries.Further , what was considered social taboo in the past , with the passage of time and the society becomes when progressive in its thinking , can become acceptable .No hard and fast , the rule of the thumb , cans be laid down as to what is exactly a taboo . If one attempts to prepare an exhaustive list of socially banned items , or practices, or customs , then it should be really educative and probably the person can start some academic research with standard and poor information.Anything that's is forbidden , unmentionable , unthinkable , Prohibited , proscribed , outlawed , and inviolable by the majority of the people the coop you live , find the safely be classified as social taboo .To widen your comprehension of this bizarre and grotesque word , which is fulled by the force of the so called conformists who safely label others as a renegade , kindly pose this question under the Psychology category , and see what replies folks who pour from our sitting behind Their curtain of subjective normality , call others Abnormal , and banish Those who practice these taboos

Usually ,drug are used for treatment to those particular diseases but nowadays addict drug is a major problem amongst our schools today, as it has always been. There are many reasons for this, such as pressure of not doing well in school, not being where you want to be, having no idea where your life is going, or maybe even why that girl or guy you like wont even look at you. Many teens turn to drugs to cope their lifestyle problems. Can you refresh back how was Justin Bieber in past few years whenever he is still cute and humble boy?Try look him today. Is he still the same?Rumour said that JB or Justin Bieber start changes his attitudes when he is 15 years old and he was caught by paparazzi trying to take drugs from his friends. This show even though you are rich, famous and billionair, you are not able to escape from the social problems.
